Mila's Sesame Street Themed Birthday {Fort Lauderdale Event Photographer}

It's about time I posted about my daughter Mila's Sesame Street Birthday Party from January! It was so much fun to plan! Mila LOVES Sesame Street! She simply adores their books! So I thought she would get a kick out of a Sesame Street party - and I made it a little girly too!

My super creative sister Cathy from CatherineSilvaDesigns made the gorgeous cake and my brother-in-law Justin Cooper made the Mila Street sign. They are both so extremely talented!

Vanessa & Keyan's Maternity Session {Fort Lauderdale Maternity Photography}

How cute is this couple? I had the pleasure of photographing Vanessa and her husband Keyan with their little boy, Julian. Can you believe she's just over 37 weeks?! She's positively GLOWING! They are expecting a little girl any day now! This girl is about to pop - honestly, I almost thought we wouldn't make it! Or that maybe this maternity session would turn into a newborn session, LOL! Thankfully, the little girl decided to wait and we were able to capture these sweet pics of their family!

What To Wear

Looking for what to wear to your photo session? It's easy. Keep it sweet and simple. Let's stay away from everyone wearing the same white shirt with blue jeans... think colors and textures! Select a color scheme and use those colors to pull accents from. Here's a little spring inspired ensemble to give you an idea, but feel free to give me a call for wardrobe questions!

Liam's Valentine's Day Mini Session {Fort Lauderdale Child Photography}

As I'm still on maternity leave, I'm not "officially" booking Valentine's Day sessions this year, but I couldn't help but do a little mini session with my good friend Claudia's son, Liam! I brought Mila and Emmy along and the kids had a blast. Liam's a sweet little kid that totally pulls off this adorable heartbreaker look! Liam's dad was totally into it, and when I suggested jokingly that it would look awesome if he had a heart tattoo with the word "Mom" on it, he immediately grabbed some washable markers and drew it on Liam's arm! Love that Dad was so into it! :)
